Educational Qualification
Inspector Forest (BS-16)

Minimum 14 years of education from a recognized university.

Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in Forestry, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, or related fields.
Forest Ranger (BS-16)

Higher Secondary School Certificate (FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent).

Must meet physical standards required by the department.
Physical Requirements (General Overview)
For Male Candidates:

Minimum Height: 5 feet 8 inches

Chest: 34–36 inches

Running Test: 1 mile in 7 minutes
For Female Candidates:

Minimum Height: 5 feet 2 inches

Running Test: 1 mile in 10 minutes
